Answers To Some Frequently Asked Questions

Below, we have tried to answer the most common questions visitors to our Web site may have.

1) What financial commitment would I have to make if I decide to work in partnership with SellYourSmarts.com and Personal Management Resources, Inc. to develop an information product for distribution on the Internet?

         As a well-established organization, we have the luxury of carefully selecting our clients that show the greatest promise with their ideas and desire to contribute. During our "get acquainted" telephone interview with you following your initial contact with us, we'll be able to determine if a partnership between us makes sense.  This initial fact-finding process is complimentary without any obligation on your part.

         If you decide to work with us in a partnership arrangement to develop an information product, we will try to stay conservative on any up-front costs to you until it is time to launch the product for distribution on the Internet. 

So long as our partnership agreement is firmly in place, SellYourSmarts.com and its parent company, Personal Management Resources, Inc., will take most of the initial risk in the product creation and development, as well as in developing and implementing of a marketing strategy for the newly created information product.  And although partnership percentages vary with each client, often our clients generally receive 50% of all profits once production, distribution and marketing costs have been covered.

2) How much of my time would I have to contribute to a project with SellYourSmarts.com?

         Depending upon the type of information product that is best suited for a particular client, most time commitments on the part of our clients are relatively small.  We realize that most clients who start the process with us are engaged in full-time employment, family, and personal commitments. 

         For this reason, we carefully plan 15 one-hour sessions via tele-conference calling to collect the initial pertinent data and discuss the details of how the project will proceed. These 15 sessions are usually spread out over 8-12 weeks, depending upon the availability of the client and our staff. From that point forward, generally one to two hours weekly is all that is required until the information product is completed and ready for distribution.  Additional time is usually required if the information product will be in a digital video format.

3) Do we have to meet in person to produce an information product?

         With technology today, we attempt to keep face-to-face meetings with our clients held to a minimum.  With communication tools at our disposal like video-conferencing, tele-conferencing, and e-mail, we find it "technically efficient" to work with our clients through these media. With the exception of on-site video sessions, it possible for anyone, living anywhere, to be able to partner with SellYourSmarts.com and become a successful infopreneur.

4) How long does it take to complete an information product that is ready for  distribution?

         Again, depending upon the topic and type of information product best suited for the topic, the average time to complete an information product is approximately 12 weeks.  Barring any challenges in the product design or initial marketing and distribution, clients can begin to realize financial rewards for their efforts in as little as four months.

5) Does my partnership with SellYourSmarts.com and Personal Management Resources, Inc. last forever?

         Partnership with us has many ongoing benefits, including a continual, worry-free stream of monthly income.  All of the clients we have ever partnered with have stayed in a mutually-beneficial relationship with us. Why? Because we put our clients first, and continue that level of service long after the information product is in distribution on the Internet.  After all, we have a vested interest in your continued success because when you succeed, we all succeed.

6) What type of income can I expect from selling my expertise in digital video information products with SellYourSmarts.com and Personal Management Resources, Inc. as my partner? 

         We have clients who receive compensation at all levels of the financial spectrum.  Some are satisfied to use their new-found income as a supplement to their household income.  Others use it to pay for their house payment each month. Still others use it to save for retirement or college for their children.  And finally, we have clients who transition into full-time infopreneurs, quit their jobs, and make more money than they ever dreamed possible - all by selling what they know.
